The Shamrock Moravit Moriara.

Hi, Just a few words of warning to all other bands on the coast. The Shamrock is managed by Bob Hamilton who is a very clever man. He will approach good bands and offer them a number of gigs at The Shamrock and if you accept he will tie your band to his bar to stop you playing anywhere else local. Its almost like you have to ask him permission to play anywhere else.

Bob will try and make you believe he is stupid so when he starts taking the piss, you accept it. Also he has absolutly no respect for musicians. Some of the comments he makes about some of you musicians are condesending to say the least.

We have just been involved in another one of his scams with the offer of playing at the Shamrock thoughout the summer on a weekly basis, Fortunatley we saw through his bullshit and told him to go f*** himself..

If you are a member of a quality local band, i would be very careful when dealing with the Shamrock, unless you enjoy having the piss ripped out of you.

Its hard enough for us to make a living at this time without users like Bob Hamilton taking the piss.
